Chess Club The chess club meets on Monday afternoons from 3:20 to 4:20 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Any student,(K-5), with parent permission may participate.   The students are taught the rules of the game and they practice their skills against opponents with like skills.  The students participate in tournaments against other  GPISD schools during the second semester. Lions Love Literacy Club "Read Across the Prairie" To enhance our students' love of reading, they may choose to participate in several reading contests. Various criteria and prizes are awarded.   Guidelines
