The Upward Bound Program at the University of Texas at Arlington is a college prepatory program providing supplemental academic assistance, tutoring, cultural enrichment and other motivational activities for 9th through 12th grade students in Grand Prairie ISD. The Dropout Prevention / Intervention Office coordinates the Upward Bound Program. We assist with the recruitment of students and coordinate transportation as well as other necessary efforts in order to facilitate the participation of Grand Prairie students in the program.
